Embroidery with Quilled Accents
When I decided that I wanted to learn embroidery, I ordered a kit so that I could learn some different stitches.
I really liked the way it was coming together, so when the holidays came around, I thought that I could add some quilled embellishments to make it a special gift to decorate my mom's home office.
I made three butterflies and quilled some small loops to the back of each so that I could sew them onto the fabric.
The embroidery pattern just had green plants, but I thought the butterflies would be happier with some flowers, so I added some pink.
