Line Drawings

I recently came across a site called Spoonflower when I was looking to get an image printed on fabric. While on the site, I found that they host design challenges. One of the upcoming ones sounded particularly interesting to me, the continuous line contour challenge, so I thought I'd try designing something for it.

I came up with two drawings that I really liked. Each one is hand-drawn with a single continuous line.

I drew the sun and moon first but thought that I'd like to try something a bit more simple.

I like the trees, even though they're lopsided, but ultimately, I decided to submit the sun and moon drawing. The deciding factor for me was that I felt that it would be the one that I'd more likely want to quill.

I think it looks pretty great in the fabric layout!
