Silhouette

This is a silhouette of my sister, Jillian, and my son. The background was painted by E and he helped to make and place the quilled raindrops. The umbrella was created with tape from an old audio reel from the radio station where Jillian works. 

I had originally planned to create the whole silhouette with the tape from the audio reel, but it was very hard to work with and did not want to let me manipulate it into small shapes. I was glad to be able to use some of it though!

The final piece was framed and gifted to my sister.
