60th Anniversary

On June 29, 2012, my grandparents celebrated their 60th anniversary!

My grandparents are the best and I love them more than words can express. I wanted to create something for them for their anniversary and eventually decided on something simple, but sweet.

I started with their wedding date and then added their initials.

I then built the tree around the text.

To finish the picture, I used chalk pencils to add some color outside of the tree and inside of the heart.

Grandma loved the detail of the gold-edged paper and she made sure that grandpa noticed it too!
